Green Procurement Guidelines
Restriction of environmental hazardous substances is getting
strict all over the world and Yanmar has been conducting intensive
activities for prohibition of hazardous substances from our products.
Thus, Yanmar is asking our suppliers to follow the Yanmar Group Green
Procurement Guideline regarding prohibited hazardous substances.
As
the growth of the global procurement continues, these activities need
to extend to all the Yanmar group companies over the world.
This
guideline, Third Edition on August 2010, newly specifies the prohibited
use substances regulated by Japanese laws and international treaties
(previous guideline describe our intention only and did not list the
prohibited use substances) and published on Yanmar official website.
