Brooke Akers joins YANMAR America

YANMAR America is pleased to announce that Brooke Akers has been named Marketing Manager for North and South America. Brooke graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Marketing Management and International Business. She comes to YANMAR with experience in both Field Sales and Marketing for the Construction market. Brooke was employed by Ingersoll Rand in the Bobcat division as a Territory Account manager with responsibility for both the Ingersoll Rand paving line and the Bobcat Compact Construction Equipment product line.
Following that, Brooke was employed by the Caterpillar Dealer in Georgia, Yancey Bros. Co., in the Marketing Department. She was responsible for planning and coordinating all trade shows and customer events, market research and reports, content for online and print newsletters/publications, and brand management.
