Our single-cylinder, air-cooled direct injection diesel engines are EPA & CARB exhaust emission compliant and utilize a counter-balancing system for smooth, high speed operation. Multiple PTO shaft options are available along with electric or recoil starting. Two power levels are offered.

From January 1, 2010, the new air-cooled diesel engine meets and passes all of the EPA's strict Tier 4 standards. Designed with the environment in mind, this engine is in tune with the needs of the times.
Superior vibration and noise reduction is achieved through the use of precision balancers. This leads to operating comfort even under long work hours.
Keeping with the tradition of compact design, the new LV series is simple to install. It fits in cramped spaces without sacrificing power and performance. Yanmar's proprietary direct injection technology allows the engine to sip rather than gorge on fuel. This means lower running cost in the world of rising fuel prices.
Starting is a breeze with the standard recoil starter. Starter motor and switch are also available as an option.
